We have just had the pleasure of staying at Mokala for a long weekend. We did not know what to expect (although comments on the Forum have all been good).

Well, on arrival a very friendly Bettie offered us cool fruit juice while we filled in the forms at Reception. Then we asked if someone could help us with our luggage and the trolleys (no parking near the chalets) and one of the managers rushed to help us.

The Restaurant is out of this world - Manageress Suzaan is so motivated and involved in everything going on. She provided some frozen venison pies for us to bring home. The dinner we had on the final night was very good.

We had a Sunset game drive on the last evening. Nantie is a charming, well-informed guide and we had a wonderful, informative, drive. On arrival back at camp, Nantie drove to the lawn in front of the restaurant, where there was a small fire, camp chairs and fruit juice and snacks!!

The accommodation is superior to most SANPARKS accommodation. The kitchen is well-equipped (microwave, stove with oven and hob, electric kettle), the linen is smart and there is even a TV (not essential, but quite nice in the evenings).

Everyone we met was intent on making the visitors' experience a good one.
They are all passionate about the Park and all it has to offer. Well done and keep up the good work.

We are now planning a return trip!
